Reporting copyright infringement
Freepik takes copyright violations seriously. The unauthorized distribution of Freepik resources is not allowed and may result in criminal and civil penalties.
If you have found a website or seller that does not comply with Freepik's usage rules, or if you have found a file on Freepik that infringes on your copyright, you can report it through the support form. Include as much detail as possible: the URL of the infringing content, your ownership proof, and a description of the violation.
Freepik will investigate the report and take appropriate action, including removing content and contacting the user about the legal consequences.
Legal protection for stock content
Freepik provides legal protection for paid subscribers who use stock content in compliance with the Terms of Use. If a third party makes a claim against you for using Freepik stock content, you may be covered by Freepik's indemnification, subject to the following conditions:
- You used the content in accordance with the license terms and Terms of Use.
- Upon receiving any representation from a third party, you immediately stopped using the content in additional works.
The limits of indemnification depend on your subscription plan at the time the claim was made. The relevant date is when the third party first makes their representation, regardless of the method or the person who delivers it.
Terms of Service
Freepik's Terms of Use govern all usage of the platform, including stock content downloads, AI-generated content, and subscription services. The Terms cover licensing, prohibited uses, payment terms, account rules, and dispute resolution.
