Makeup artist gives skull face characterization another different twist
Skull faces are much known in the makeup world because they are the perfect solution for a last minute Halloween make up idea. But makeup artist Vanessa Davis has earned herself the social media title of ‘the Skulltress’, outside the costume season.
Describing herself as a makeup and mixed media face artist, this Mexican-British artist beautifully creates shapes, volume and definition on her face using her painting tools. And the results are astonishing.
Her tridimensional looks are completed using props, like sequins, metallic elements and feathers amongst others, but even without them she achieves perfection with her elaborate (and sometimes spooky) looks.
