Full color CMYK 3D printing at home, a dream finally come true
The RoVa4D Full Color Blender intends to be the world’s very first affordable full color 3D printer, easy to use at home and ready to print. ORD Solutions is the group behind this Kickstarter project, and they already succeeded back in 2013, when they funded the first 5 extruder 3D printer, called the MH3000.
Today, after more than two years of market feedback about their previous work, they are working on developing a full color printer that would be affordable and easy to use, making it stand out amongst the rest of home 3D printers, which can only print a color at a time.
The printer can blend CMYK and white, to create any color, but it can also blend different kind of materials: you can get soft and hard materials in the same piece, combined and mixed, obtaining new properties. It also saves you money, because instead of using different polymer color filaments for each project, you only need five: black, white, cyan, magenta and yellow. Sounds great, doesn’t it?
