This app called Color Supply can help you determine a color palette based on different setups: complementary colors, analogous, split-complements… There are several possibilities, and you can see in real time how would they work on icons.

There is also a selection of palettes curated by a group of graphic designers and artists, but you are free to experiment with the color wheel and pick the options that you like the most! 🙂
